Snowmass Lake – Willow Lake With summer speeding by and our dog going stir crazy – it was time for an escape back to nature and another classic backpacking loop. We had a few days off so headed to Aspen on a 3 day ~23 mile loop.
Uncompahgre – Matterhorn – Wetterhorn Loop This July we planned an epic adventure through Colorado’s San Juans. Staying mostly above tree line we spent 5 days hiking around the iconic Uncompahgre, Matterhorn, and Wetterhorn Peaks.
Desert Trip – Monument Valley, Page Arizona, and White Pocket Colorado’s mud months in April/May are the perfect time to explore the desert. The weather is often ideal and it is nice to escape Colorado’s rainy May.
